Christian Families Against Destructive Decisions mission is to influence the building and sustaining of strong families and strong generational heritages by promoting a biblical worldview and a God first lifestyle. All of the pain, sorrow and sin in the world is the result of just one wrong decision. Every day we make hundreds of decisions that determine what we say and do. CFADD seeks to educate the public about the benefits and consequences of decisions that affect them and their loved ones, and to provide resources, strategies, and principles that would aid them in making good sound decisions.

The Home Arch of Love: About Family Love

Family love stands as the cornerstone of a happy and fulfilling life. It is the unwavering bond that connects individuals, offering a sense of belonging, support, and trust. The concept of the "Home Arch of Love" beautifully symbolizes how each family member serves as a vital pillar, contributing to the strength and resilience of the family as a whole. Through shared experiences, open communication, and mutual respect, family love grows stronger, creating a safe space where everyone can thrive. It reminds us that while life has its challenges, a loving and supportive family is the solid foundation we can always return to for strength and comfort.
The talk about the importance of love within the family, which is described as a unit consisting of a Man, Woman, their Children, and God. The emphasis that love is victorious and compares it to triumphal arches that symbolize victory and honor. The essence of love is linked to Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection, which allows people to experience triumphant love.
The reference to a passage in the Bible, 1 John 4:9-11, 16 (KJV), explains that love comes from God and that without God, human love is imperfect and can lead to dysfunction. The English language has only one word for love, which can be confusing and lead to the word being undervalued or misused. True love is powerful, meaningful, and an attribute of God.
The nature of love as describeed in the Bible, particularly in 1 Corinthians 13. Biblical love is a decision to care for others based on God's standards and to seek their well-being. It is patient, kind, selfless, and enduring. Love in the family starts with Holy matrimony, which is the union of a sanctified man and woman to each other and to God. There is a need to stress the importance of creating a loving environment to raise children and to show compassion towards family members.
This talk also covers the Song of Solomon, which is a biblical love song that illustrates how couples should relate to each other within marriage. The suggestion that this resource can be used as a guide for expressing love in a marriage without relying on secular songs.

There are accasions that arise to share our personal story about forgiving absent fathers, illustrating the transformative Power of Love.
